Talk32 is a lightweight Discord client that uses Win32, GDI, and GDI+ instead of Chrome/Electron for rendering. To support modern TLS on Windows XP it uses OpenSSL and provides its own root certificates.

The name was originally inspired by Jason Derulo's lyric "talk dirty to me" because it's sung so fast that it sounds almost like "talk32". I decided to create this app when I wanted to use Ripcord on a 32-bit Windows 8.1 tablet but "cancel" (Ripcord's author) didn't express interest in providing a 32-bit release. I also have an old 32-bit Windows XP laptop that I would like to use to browse Discord.
